375 ml Rubicon 2003 -- The 375ml is one half the normal bottle size. "This is one for the cellar." - Scott McLeod, Winemaker The benchlands of western Rutherford and the Estate’s specific clone of Cabernet Sauvignon define the heart of the Rubicon blend. Rubicon is a selection of the finest blocks of Cabernet Sauvignon, with small percentages of Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot adding layers of flavor. While it is approachable now, it will develop further complexity with cellaring, easily fifteen to twenty-five . . .

Blancaneaux 2005 -- Blancaneaux is a blend of Marsanne, Roussanne, and Viognier grown entirely on the organically farmed vineyards of Rubicon Estate. It is produced each year in extremely limited quantities - only 705 cases for this vintage. You'll find aromas of guava, lime, melon and pear, and a dense palate ripe with peach and honeydew. Captain's Reserve Pinot Noir 2006 -- Our 2006 Captain's Pinot Noir has a bright ruby-plum color with aromas of black cherries, toasted vanilla and sweet cinnamon spice. Deep red raspberry and cherry flavors highlight the silky textured palate. Subtle notes of black pepper and nutmeg linger on the long finish. Captain's Reserve Zinfandel 2005 -- Our 2005 Captain’s Reserve Zinfandel is harvested from Napa Valley’s premier vineyards for producing Zinfandel. Napa Valley has a long history of growing Zinfandel grapes, dating back to the late 1800s when some of the first vineyards were planted. Harvest 2005 was one of the earliest on record in Napa Valley. It was especially noteworthy for its low yields of outstanding quality fruit, which has resulted in wines that have ideal balance, intense aromas and exceptional flavor.

Edizione Pennino Zinfandel 2005 -- Edizione Pennino Zinfandel is an elegant and serious Zinfandel with briar and deep spice aromas. The palate is marked by ripe, unctuous, delicious fruit flavors of raspberry and blackberry with hints of cranberry, black pepper and cola. It’s easy to drink now but can be cellared for 8 to 10 years. The label for the Edizione Pennino Zinfandel pays tribute to Francis Coppola’s maternal grandfather, Francesco Pennino, with a design that replicates the logo of his music-publishing firm.
