Blancaneaux 2006 -- Blancaneaux is a blend of Marsanne, Roussanne, and Viognier grown entirely on the organically farmed vineyards of Rubicon Estate. It is produced each year in extremely limited quantities - only 749 cases for this vintage. The lush, full-bodied palate delivers juicy flavors of honeydew melon, fresh nectarines, pears and allspice. Though rich with fruit density and weight, this wine is simultaneously delicate with lively acidity and refreshing citrus and spice aromas.

Rubicon 2004 -- Rubicon Estate’s flagship wine is Rubicon — a proprietary blend of Cabernet, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Petit Verdot. It is produced from the best selections of the Estate’s 235 contiguous acres of certified-organic vineyards, including Clone #29 Cabernet Sauvignon, a 40-year-old selection that laboratory analysis confirmed has the same genetic material as the vines Gustave Niebaum, Inglenook’s founder, brought back from France in the 1880s. Estate CASK Cabernet 2005 -- Our 2005 CASK Cabernet has layers of ripe, red cherries, plum, vanilla, cocoa, and toast. The flavor is intense and attains a layered complexity and long finish, but with a pleasing, supple mouth feel. The wine is remarkable now, especially if served with intensely flavored meats or cheeses, but it also can be aged for 10 years or more. This is a monumental vintage for CASK. Edizione Pennino Estate Zinfandel 2005 Magnum -- 93 Points - Wine Enthusiast 90 Points - Wine Spectator The 2005 Edizione Pennino Zinfandel is dark, luscious, and very perfumey. Intense aromas of raspberry, white pepper and licorice are followed by sweet, mouth filling flavors of blue and red fruits, briar and spice. With a palate this dense and ripe, the profusion of flavor lingers and builds beautifully on the finish. It’s easy to drink now but can be cellared for 8 to 10 years. The magnum is 1.5 liters, equivalent to 2 standard bottles. . . .

Edizione Pennino Estate Zinfandel 2006 -- The 2006 Edizione Pennino Zinfandel is dark, luscious, dense, possessing a mouth filling richness and viscosity. Aromas of raspberry, white pepper and shiso are followed by luscious, ripe flavors of blueberries and blackberries, briar and spice. With a palate this dense and ripe, the profusion of flavor lingers and builds beautifully on the finish.

Estate Cabernet Franc 2005 -- The 2005 Estate Cabernet Franc is an individual expression of classic Rutherford terroir. You'll enjoy top note aromas of tobacco leaf, sandalwood and red cherry with an elegant, velvety texture. This vintage can be enjoyed now, but will gain further complexity with 5 to 10 years of cellaring.

Estate Cabernet Franc 2006 -- The 2006 Estate Cabernet Franc is an individual expression of classic Rutherford terroir. The grapes for this vintage came from four of our Estate vineyards, with each providing slightly different flavor profiles to create layers of flavors and textures. The Gio vineyard contributes a plush texture with cherry and chocolate flavors. The fruit from Gate and La Lomita vineyards provides the wine's deep color and dense core of blackberry character. Lastly, the Cohn vineyard delivers the classic characteristics . . .

Estate Merlot 2006 -- As with last year's vintage, low production makes the 2006 Estate Merlot a rare treat. The palate is very dense with deep forward weight and viscosity with very fine supple tannins that shoulder the finish of ripe fruit and vanilla wood tones.

Marsanne 2007 -- This is a very special, very small production wine. Marsanne, a Rhone varietal, was first planted on the Rubicon Estate in 1994 in a small plot of 1.2 acres. It is the most opulent of the three white Rhone varietals that are grown at Rubicon, with a viscous texture and flavors of ripe tropical fruits—mango, pineapple and starfruit. Like Blancaneaux, the Marsanne grown on the Estate is fermented in stainless steel, very gently whole cluster pressed and aged in stainless steel drums, with some lees . . .
